About Willow Lane Studio
As a multi-passionate individual, I have spent my life learning, teaching, experimenting, and honing my skills in various areas in art, craft, education, and more recently, wellness and mental health modalities. Allowing participants to connect with themselves in new ways, connect with others in the community, and nurture curiosity and creativity in a non-judgmental environment is the focus of the studio. I am very excited and honoured to be part of your journey in a way that feels right for you.

Yoga

My journey has involved body-centered practices like yoga, meditation and various other ways of connecting mind, body and soul. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2023 and have been building my own practise and sharing classes with students to help reduce stress, calm the mind and increase flexibility. My hope is share calming classes that help reduce stress, regulate the nervous system, and allow participants to connect to their inner landscape.

Sound Baths

Sound, singing, and music have been a major part of my life and healing journey. Singing bowls are instruments that are played to connect with the body on a vibrational level. They have multiple benefits for your mind and body and is an immersive experience for your whole system.

Pottery & Creative Workshops​
My journey in clay began in childhood, but the hobby business I am enjoying today has only come about in the last few years. I mostly create functional pieces but have been experimenting with more sculptural work as of late. I sell independently and participate in a few local shows each year.

The goal is to create opportunities for people to explore processes and media in a non-judgemental space.

Private/Group Events, Retreats & Team Building
Various workshops and events will be hosted out of spaces in the region. I will also be participating in various events as a vendor in the community, so keep an eye out for some amazing local events.

Offerings:
Singing Bowls & Sound Baths
A "Sound Bath" is a transformative and immersive experience that engages both the ears and the entire body. As you settle onto your yoga mat and get comfortable, you’ll be enveloped by the sounds of various instruments, including crystal singing bowls, lotus gong, vocals and other sound elements, each carefully selected to promote deep relaxation and healing. This immersive sound experience will guide you on a journey within, allowing you to release tension, quiet the mind, and restore inner balance. Each participant may respond uniquely during the session, with common sensations including deep relaxation, emotional release, gentle restlessness, tingling, calmness, sleepiness, warmth or chills, and vibrations throughout the body or head.
Participants should come dressed in warm, comfortable clothing, including cozy socks or slippers, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience—no need to worry about fashion here! To enhance your comfort during the sound bath, each participant will receive a yoga mat, bolster, yoga blanket, and an eye covering, creating a nurturing space for you to fully immerse yourself in the restorative sounds. Please bring additional items that you feel might enhance your experience.

Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to sound baths, these sessions invites you to unwind and connect with your inner self in a supportive community.

Yoga
Yoga has been a big part of my healing and growth journey and it is my hope to share what I am learning with others. In 2023 I completed a 200h Yoga Teacher Training & Restorative Yoga Teacher training which solidified my interest in teaching yoga to help with nervous system regulation and mind/body connection. I have continued to build my own practise and lean new styles and ways of teaching.
I offers slow restorative classes each with a different theme, encouraging participants to connect with different aspects of themselves. In these classes, I use music, meditation, singing bowls, and props to enhance relaxation and deepen the connection between body and mind. The blended styles of gentle flow, restorative, and yin yoga, combined with meditation, create an opportunity to reset the nervous system and cultivate calm amidst life's busyness.
As we move through thoughtfully curated poses, I encourage deep, full breathing, allowing for both physical release and mental clarity. Holding each posture for longer durations invites a deeper exploration of bodily sensations and fosters a greater connection to the present moment.
I warmly invite everyone to bring their own yoga mat and water bottle, while I provide additional props like blocks, bolsters, and straps for those who need extra support or adaptations.
This is an opportunity to slow down, unwind, and recharge in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, I hope to create a space where you can find tranquility and restore balance while connecting with your inner self.
